2 weeks old... ALREADY!

Corbin had his 2-week check up today and is growing by leaps and bounds (they like babies to be back up to their birth weight @ 2 weeks -- so we've got an OVER-ACHEIVER on our hands!  (Fun Fact: Caleb was 9 lbs 4 oz @ 2 weeks and by far our "chunkiest" baby -- so we'll see if Corbin keeps up with his stats -- next check-up... 2 months :)

Corbin's Birth Stats  &  2 -week Stats
 8 lbs 5 oz                   9 lb. 3.5 oz
20 inches                    21.5 inches

Here are a couple cute pictures I took today... like Grandma Dorothy used to say, "HOW PRECIOUS"!!!

Christmas 2011

The Briggs Bunch spent all of Winter Break in Waukee this year (waiting for baby Corbin to arrive).

We wrapped many presents, made and decorated sugar cookies, and held our own Family Christmas on Friday the 23rd --- plus went bowling, to the movies and spent a day with the Pettitt's at Incredible Pizza Company.

This is the first time in 12 years that we have spent both Christmas Eve & Christmas Day "AT HOME" (... it was nice not to have to pack up and travel for once)!!!

Pile on C-A-M-E-R-O-N!!!

Caleb loves his new holiday PJs... "What SANTA doesn't bring me GRANDMA will"!!

The kids were excited to spend Christmas Eve with Grandma Anita and Grandpa Dave & Christmas Day with the Pettitt's.

Kiara even remembered to leave SANTA a few cookies and a glass of milk!!!

The Kids LOVED their new ride on toys (from Mom & Dad and Grandma & Grandpa Briggs)... Red and Green Electric Scooters & a Dune Racer.... you wouldn't think you'd be able to ride them during an Iowa winter.. but the kids got many hours of riding in as the weather has been unseasonably warm (ironically as I am writing this on 1-11-12 it's starting to snow as we haven't seen snow or temperatures under 30 for a few weeks :) I guess the nice weather can't stay forever.
